Administering of Medicines to the Patient
I learned the proper way of administering the medicines to the patient and the right medicine for them. by doing the proper way of administering the medicine, the patient can properly recover because he has taken the proper medicine and took the proper medicine properly. I also learned the proper medicine when it is taken from the mouth, the medicines are supposed to be capsules or in tablets. when the medicine is being taken from the outer skin, he/she must use creams, lotions or ointments.when it is in the eyes, ears or nose, you must take drops like eye drops or ear drops and nasal and so on. I also learned that doctors used codes in prescribing the time intervals to observe in the administration of medicine and these are the following:
qd- once a day bid-twice a day
tid- thrice a day qid- four times a day
ac- before meals q4h- every 4 hours
and so on.
I guess you can say that I learned a lot from this lesson and it can help me a lot in my way of taking care of people.

Health care is important to to the individual/yourself because whenever your sick and nobody is there to help you, you could treat yourself without the need of other people and you can learn more from it and you won't rely on anyone. Health care to the family is also important because if an emergency occurs and one of your relatives need medical attention right away, you could help or treat him/her easily and won't have to immediately rush him to the hospital for a treatment but instead, just a check up on the patient and won't have to cost more.Health care to the community is important because if an accident happened and the ambulance has not yet arrive and the other people doesn't know how to properly treat him, then it won't be difficult for you because you know how treat and care for the patient well and you would have saved that person from sufferings. :)
